Proud to say I set a personal best on the bike this AM -20.5 miles. I am amazed at how quickly I am progressing with just 2 days a week for only 6 weeks. Adding that second day each week has made a huge difference for me. Unfortunately I had to cancel my class reservation because of my wellness check on Tuesday. I haven't yet been able to find an opening to substitute yet. I also found out the gym has ordered pool bikes. I can't decide if I would like that or not. Seems like extra work to have to get into a swimsuit , get into chlorinated water which irritates my skin and lungs and then have to do all the stuff to get cleaned up, etc. I have think I just talked myself out of that class!

I thought the post this week was interesting that the poster was not progressing because she walking too much. Wow. I know we have a lot of walkers doing big numbers on this group. Is anyone else suspecting the same as thing?

JRod Cardio day!

I had to go to the gym earlier than usual because the changed my mom's appointment to this afternoon.

I did my 2.41 miles. The first lap was a slow jog and the second lap was brisk walking. Funny thing is my slow jog is only 2.30 minutes faster than my brisk walk. Oh well, I'll have to work on getting faster as I lose...See More

Elaine/ret/IN Two walks today: 9677 steps. The indoor walk at the county library is fun for the camaraderie of the group. Not as many steps, though. Beautiful sunny low 30's day. Quite a gift for February walkers.

I'm away for 3 days for babysitting and our church women's week-end. Hopefully, I'll get some walking time.

judycaret 7,700 step walk for me today. Walking isn't just exercise
and weight control for me, it's also my time to relax and
regroup. It is very important to the whole me.
