Sometimes I despair

...and then something like this shows up in my inbox to remind me of how many wonderful, caring, generous people there are in the world. Astounding. :-) (particulars redacted by me)

"Good morning,

My husband and I recently were in [redacted] and spent some time at the foundation. We are very impressed and I brought back the idea of fundraising enough money to build a complete School through your foundation. We are about 2/3 of the way there (14,000 CAD) and would like more information about how the build goes and where the build might be if we raise enough money in 2017. We understand the community build the school and we strongly support that. We also want to send our youth group down to help in the finishing touches (painting etc) and to be there to open the school. If it takes 4 months to build, the school when would you need the money in order to have the build done between November 2017 and February 2018? Cousin Dennis with GoServ Global currently in Guatamala setting up Saf-T-Homes serving villages as schools, clinics and orphanges. My daughter's FFA Chapter president and vice president just completed Meals from the Heartland on Feb. 14th where they and their school packed 40,000 meals to be used all over the world. This was a community service project. Jessica working for a company that helps women who have been sold into slavery and rescued. My church team just got back from Haiti setting up housing for women and children or the Dominican team getting the second floor on a school. How about the team helping with the ranch in the Dakotas.

Heck so many teachers on this board do things daily for the children in their classrooms.

Bill T (who doesn't either) Don't post here much, anymore. I retired four years ago, but still substitute in the school I retired from.
