Made it to 20 miles today in RPM cycling class this morning. Felt really good and it was the best banana I have eaten afterwards to help with muscle repair.

I read an article in our newspaper yesterday about the best way to lose weight is with high intensity interval training. That has many short bouts of high intensity effort with a small amount of rest in between - best performed with traditional cardio exercises like running. swimming, cycling and rowing. These work best because the fat burning continues after the workout has ended. The article explained how it works in more detail. It made sense to me considering I only cycle in class twice a week and I am really toning up.
