Today was cardio day!

I spent 45 minutes on the treadmill watching a ghost program. I plugged in my headphones to hear the program since I can't read the closed captioning without my glasses.

I did the interval program option available on the treadmill. It was two minutes moderate pace (no incline, 3 mph) and two minutes at a brisker pace (3.0-3.5 incline, 3.5-4.2 mph). I increased the brisker pace each time until I topped out at 4.2 mph with 3.5 incline. It was fast enough that I was almost to the point of jogging to keep up. My heart rate went from 112 to 145 during each interval. Stretching after the workout felt good.

After my workout, I decided that my hair needed some TLC. I haven't colored it or trimmed it since late March and it was looking rough! I felt so much better after the stylist was down. She did a great scalp massage.

Elaine/ret/IN 45 minutes of yoga. 30 minutes of walking. 1 1/4 hour of biking. It came out to 11,739 steps. My phone/pedometer was generous with steps on my pedals on the bike.

We had strong storms late afternoon, and we had to dodge sticks (and, at one place, a tree limb) on the bike path.
