Aspiring teacher seeking guidance

Hey everyone!

Currently, I am an esl teacher in south korea.

But i studied philosophy in university and have decided, after long quarrels with the deepest reccesses of my mind, to become a highschool english teacher.

(The most meaingful moments of my life are when i am connecting to someone deeply by bringing them to a more clear reality and passing on my fervent passion and insatisble curiosity for life. I know this isnt the whole job for english teachers but if incsn do this for a living some of the time and have a seminal effect on students, i will be fulfilled. )

I have been doing resesech but dont want to reinvent the wheel. One mentor can replace years worth of research and reading.

Some questions i have are:
