Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

I have applied in the past couple weeks for a few jobs that will start in just days/weeks. Startingly, the interviewers were placid and did not seem too concerned about this emergency situation of needing to fill a teaching position in such a short period of time. Why aren't these administrators more worried about filling and giving the new hire time to move to the new position? Seems strange to me. Any ideas or comments?
Melody This might sound cynical, but it happens all the time. They aren't worried because they know the teacher personality is generally such that you will kill yourself to get ready and make it work no matter how late they hire you. All the stress is on the eventual hire, and none of it really is on them.
