Honestly - the mother needs to cut the chord. The kid is capable, but she babies him. He is in 8th grade, and she pays for so many tutors. I believe he gets away with not doing a lot of his HW because he knows he can make it all up with his tutor and because of the 504, he gets "extra time".
Can someone help me say "cut the chord" without coming off harsh?
