Hi , i was wondering if anyone could give me some advise please , my family and i are interested in immigrating and currently my only experience is that of my autistic son , i have a great knowledge and understanding of autism, i am currently awaiting training in pecs at professional level , and have a great undersatnding and experience in the teacch programme , my son uses these at home, in researching teaching / pupil support assistants i cant find much under the qualifications side of things , i was wondering if anyone had any specific advise that would help me access a job as a teaching /pupil support assistant in Canada , preferably with children with additional support needs / disabilities as i feel i would be more valuable in this area .
haha I don't know much about the TA situation on Canada (nothing actually) but in general, you would be in a much better situation if you actually had experience doing the job you want to do in the new location.
