Two years ago I finished the school year with health problems. I spent these last two years getting healthy and I want to teach again. The charter school I was at was not sympathetic about my health and wanted a guarantee I would not be absent the next year. I couldn't promise such a thing so I resigned. My fear is that a potential employer will call the school just to check that I really did work there and my former boss will say terrible things.
