Modafinil 200mg is a medication prescribed to aid in promoting wakefulness and treating excessive daytime sleepiness in adult patients. Modafinil is mostly used in cases of narcolepsy, sleep apnea (used along with airway management) and shift work sleep disorder. This medication differs from other stimulants since it is not categorized as a stimulant but a wakefulness-promoting drug with an alternative mode of action.
