Chatterbox Club

I am an English language enthusiast and founder of a new online ‘talk’ website, Chatterbox Club, where students of English as a 2nd language who want to raise the level of their spoken English to fluent, can get the practice they sorely need. For all its international status, on the whole English is not spoken very well and this is not surprising considering the focus in mainstream education is on the theory, not on the practice, of a language. When the time comes to speak out, the lack of practice is evident from the halting, stilted and incorrectly worded English so widely spoken abroad. I believe that the object of learning (and teaching) a language is to effectively communicate, i.e. to be understood when speaking and to understand when others are speaking, I decided to establish a website that would attempt to do that.
