RedforEd appears behind us and hopefully successful. As a substitute with a business background I could see it was sorely needed. I created a Facebook group called Substitute Teachers Arizona but this site appeals to me as a better option. Your thoughts?

There will be an Educator Open House event for OdySea Aquarium & Butterfly Wonderland on Tuesday, September 19th from 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm. There is no charge for educators to attend the open house event, however you must RSVP and present school ID or proof of school affiliation for admittance. My contract is due today, and after the school takes out for health insurance and for the pension I have little to live on. I just don't want to sign today.

When you interview, ask if health insurance in free as many districts are charging. Your paycheck will be very small.
Also, ask if you will be responsible for joining committees as part of your 301 obligation.
We got a 1 percent raise and have to ban together somehow.
