It took just short of a month for me to hear back.
Couple of Questions
One week is not long with pretty much anything government related, LOL. I know it took more than 2 weeks before my husband got his offer.

If the streets are like they are here in Japan, you want a little car! My Honda Fit (a pretty small car by American standards) feels big on lots of these tiny roads here in Japan!
