I am new to this process. When I look online my application states that I am still in pending for my qualifications, but when I called they said my file was active. I am also confused about being on a referral list, how does that happen, and should I worry that it still states pending even though the lady on the phone said I was active.

You will need to get official passports once you are hired. But you will also want blue passports so it wouldn't but to get them because it would be one less thing to deal with during the rush to get onboard on time.

The biology courses are 100 level and the physics are 200 level. I was wondering about which subjects/courses DoDEA considers "science courses." The obvious ones are biology, chemistry, and physics. It is late but might not be too late for 2019-2020. If they need people with your certs then they can manage your EAS and push it through.

They "should" count all experience where you were teaching in a K-12 setting. So, definitely the AZ and probably the int'l school. They had no problem counting my int'l school teaching experience but would not count my years as a admin/teacher (my fault for submitting it with that title).

Here is the link for state side salary schedules. DDESS accepts 5 years and you start at zero so you would start on step 5.

You would start on step 5 in the Bachelors +15 (if the 15 were obtained after the Bachelor's degree). If you can prove 30 graduate credits after your BS, then you could be on the Bachelors +30 column.
