Yes. I actually submitted the E-QIP a week before that. How long should it take? It's for a stateside position, but I am not sure if that matters.

It varies wildly. I have heard times of anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. Longer or shorter is also possible. I haven't heard of a pattern of stateside being any better or worse but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Yes, I have heard of people doing this. You should be able to get reimbursed, as long as you have all of the receipts, etc.

It does put you at a disadvantage when you are being compared with candidates who have more relevant experience. It might also depend a bit on your subject area.

In 2012, I was told I had a Professional Materials (or something) baggage for such materials. The example given was a weightlifter trainer. I am seem to recall this form of baggage did not count against your Unaccompanied Baggage (Hold Baggage) and Household Goods (HHG). There is probably a lot of baggage types I do not know.

Mu understanding is that teachers can live on base but there might be a waiting list depedning on when you arrive. Try joining and posting on the DoDEA FB page for specific questions about Iwakuni. Also, some regular posters were hired at Iwakuni this year and might post here on the subject.

I can't speak for Guam specifically, but generally you would stay in lodging (hotel like, depending on the location). You would pay for this and generally submit for reimbursement every 10 days and then get reimbursed in around 2 weeks.

Generally they have to be official for your application. Ideally, hard copy official transcripts that were mailed to you and then scanned in. Digital might work if they are actual transcripts and not print outs of virtual displays. I know what you're talking about Literacy Rocks, the university I attended for graduate school recently started sending official transcripts in an emailed PDF option. They are definitely considered official copies. I was excited to see the option, though a little wary at first.
