Hi! I'm going to be applying soon, but have a question regarding transcripts. In my past experiences, "official transcripts" were only official if they never passed through me. They had to be either sent through mail directly to the hiring body, or more recently, emailed directly to them from the university credentialing office. If we are attaching digital transcripts to our application, is this sufficient? These are not scans, but are transcripts that were emailed to me by the college/universities. Further, my undergraduate transcript shows transfer credits from the two junior colleges I attended, but does not list the coursework. They were 1000 level/freshman classes. Will it be necessary to go ahead and request copies of those transcripts from the junior college as well?
ESLTeach As long as they do not say unofficial and you have copies of both the front and back they should be fine.

You will need actual unopened official transcripts to submit if you are offered a position (if I am recalling correctl...See More

ESLTeach I know what you're talking about Literacy Rocks, the university I attended for graduate school recently started sending official transcripts in an emailed PDF option. They are definitely considered official copies. I was excited to see the option, though a little wary at first.
