Power of attorney will work for some things, Others (like a CAC) will generally require the sponsor's presence.

Why does my DODEA provisional certificate only have PK and K?

I recall they sent my provisional to me via email. If you still haven't received it I would follow up with whoever is your area licensure person is.

TeacherMaMa... Email them. They only put on your license what you were hired for. NOT what you can actually teach. I am jealous... I was a new hire this year and they still haven't sent mine

@ AZPsych- Hmm. They probably asked it without thinking but you're right in that they are really not supposed to ask about families (in my understanding). Thanks for the feedback haha. Yeah, I have no plans of litigation or anything like that. It did seem like the principal was trying to be interested and friendly, rather than holding it against me or anything.

$10,000 is a good ballpark figure. Ours was less with a family of 3 and that included buying a cheap older car (which is still running great two years later, knock on wood!).

You will probably be able to add English and Spanish to your certifications. And i believe if you are state certified the amount of credits are not as substantive. I would call and ask the Dept that reads transcripts for a better understanding.

Anecdote about the DoD. The Lube oil purifiers on the Nuke Sub I was stationed on 95' to 99' are the EXACT same ones on WWII era diesel submarines.

If you want to try for this school year, you can send a email request to the EAS Administrator. I did this a few years ago, and they updated my application for the present school year. In my case, I had left the previous SY selection unchanged by accident.

To clarify. He is still currently enrolled and taking classes with Sulllivan's but University of MD starts its next quarter next week, so he will have an overlap in classes for a few weeks. I was worried a gap would cause more problems than an overlap, especially, since he finds his current classes to be pretty easy (mostly electives).
