elvatoHi Scholar, thanks for the info. I had some questions I wanted to ask you, this my email: raviosacoco at yahoo . c o m I couldn't find the secretary's email. Thanks for your help.
I am not sure if the time differs for everyone, but does anyone know how much time one has from when the orders are recieved to the time one must be on that plane?
hahaAs I recall, once you get your orders you will then set up your actual travel arrangements, based on the report date HR gives you. Usually your orders have a travel on or about date which means that date, give or take 10 days.
After you get excepted and start filling out the paper work I see that you will need copies of official transcripts and work verification documents. Are there any other documents (birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, etc) that I should have ready
I'm new to the system and we were supposed to get paid today. I did not. Do new employees get paid later? (like a bigger check on pay period 2) How is it working for the other new folks out there?
BubbleHeadThis information is useless to you now but when I was in the Navy Station in Hawaii direct deposits happen at 12am EST so in Hawaii we got paid at 6pm Hawaiian time the day before payday
SandArtI got paid later in the evening. My husband sent me a text "We had $_____ deposited today!" I thought it was weird to not see it first thing in the morning, but it got there.
I am a young teacher that wants to teach at a DODD school overseas. I've been teaching for 4 years (25 now). My degree is in history and political science and I received my alternative professional certificate from my state (Florida). I am going back to school for a masters in secondary ed social science. I teach an AP class and have gone through AP training. I also have received a Fulbright grant from the department of ed. Would like to know what else I should look at adding the next year and a half to increase my odds of getting a job. Thanks ahead of time for any feedback!
Other than that, any area you can add beyond social studies would be beneficial. If it's an area you can test into and get state certification then you would only need half of the normally required credits.
hahaIf you underestimate you are reimbursed, if you over-estimate you owe the difference. If the currency fluctuation causes you to be way off you can submit a reconciliation.
However, I haven't even gotten a sniff for a referral. Does anyone have any idea why I haven't gotten any contact? I know there are a lot of applicants but I also know there aren't that many exceptionals. (maybe 15 or so)
I put my application on hold last week because I'm on the cusp of some money for loan forgiveness.
