Agree. You are better off taking the time now to get someone to complete it (and complete it correctly). That way if there is a problem, you have the time/energy to to get it fixed without a million other things going on/needing your attention.

Experience/in depth knowledge with a specific program that DoDEA is currently using would be a plus, but it's doubtful that not having it would be a deal breaker. DoDEA changes programs, platforms, software frequently, and/or frequently hires people who are expected to learn on the job.

I would suggest that it is a LOT of data entry information, providing new people access to different tasks within the systems used. Lots of queries, etc. It would definitely be better if you are already familiar with Aspen, the current system for now and the next tie period.

Japan has been our favorite (any of the bases near Tokyo would be great). We also enjoyed Europe (most any of the locations would be just fine). We love Japan. I lived in Ankara, Turkey as a 9th-10th grader and LOVED it. However, the political culture has changed considerably and I think teachers are not permitted to bring dependent children now. My family lived in Madrid Spain when I was a toddler and LOVED it, but I have heard that the DoDEA location is rather isolated.

Within the EAS application, there is an email address for CHRA. That's who you want to email. If you are referring to a listing on USA jobs, there should be an email contact within the job announcement.
