Current in district DoDDS teachers will get first option for these (basically a quasi mini-transfer round) but that will leave similar size holes in other district schools.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to get a position with DoDDS? This will be my third round.

We first applied in 2008. I had a few interviews over the years but didn't get any offers until I went back and got my masters which added some additional SPED certifications. I got my offer in 2012.

Haha, how long after one started working for DoDEA is eligible to apply for a transfer? For Europe do you have information about openings during the transfer round? PS- do you see for Japan combination of math, science, social studies, or business? Thanks!

Where can you take the methods courses for elementary? I have an elementary cert but not the classes. I've done a search but can't really find anything.

To be eligible for the transfer round you need to be off of provisional status (usually two years) and have served out your current transportation agreement (one or two years depending on locations).
