I have only received one referral for FLES (no job offer). I am certified to teach gen ed elementary, but I haven't received any referrals for general elementary. I'm hoping there are still lots of open positions out there that I might get referrals/interviews for.

I wish I knew what was causing me to not get referrals. My certs are FLES, reading specialist ES/MS, and gen ed grades 1-8. I'm looking into taking ECE courses, ESL courses, and 1 more math course (to be a math specialist) to increase my chances of a job.

Thank you teach. Do you know if the classes have to have method in the name? For example "Teaching Methods: Elementary Science."

Course title to be totally safe but obviously prominent in the course description will generally work too.
