Timing for hiring

Hi all! I completed my DoDea application in January and was qualified to teach grades pk-3rd about a week later. Since then I haven't heard anything. I know this process can be long and many times it can take years before getting an interview so I am trying to be patient. With that said I am hoping I have everything online that I need to be considered for an interview. I've been teaching first grade for five years in a rural poverty school and feel as though this could be the perfect time to transition into a job with the DoDea. I'm looking for any advice or prior experiences on how long this process has usually taken for all of you and if there is anyone I should be contacting or anything I should be doing in order to increase my chances of getting an interview. Any and all advice is appreciated! Thank you!

SandArt Laura, my first year I was a kindergarten teacher. I was moved to 6th grade the next based on school needs. I loved it! Moved to junior high math four years later and it was even better. angel Also, make sure your application is actually active. I received the update email in February and it said that "everyone is required to update ONLINE, no matter how recently the application was submitted."

Laura Angel- how do I find out if it is active?!
