We got our 1st rabies shot at Petsmart because it was the soonest appointment and worked for our schedule.

Our vet got back to me when I asked about the international chip, and yes, we need the international chip.

Now, we need to start the process all over because you need the chip before the 1st rabies shot.

My husband can come later And many airlines do not allow pets on the plane if the temperature is too high. Also, our dogs fit the acceptable breeds for flying and entry into Japan. People need to make sure th...See More

Frank Mary-Lorraine, Did you get a job offer in Japan? If so, congrats! Can I ask what position and where? Thanks.

HelpOthers Psych, no I have not received any job offers. I did apply to the ISS School Psych/504 position in Japan, but have not heard anything. I have tried to take the advice of someone currently in DoDDS seeking to go to the UK or Japan, can't remember which and keep my dog(s) ready to go without having to be in a 6 month quarantine. I was told by the vet ...See More
