Just a heads up for people like me who'be had their application in for a while (yrs). They reevaluate your qualifications if you are referred for a position. For me this means I was deemed not qualified for what I was picked to teach. While I can remedy this in a month, it means I missed this chance. I should have kept up and made sure I was still qualified and I feel I let them down.

Supernova SandArt, I am certified mainly in secondary, I had a TON of methods lessons in my undergraduate and graduate program, so it may depend on where the teacher earned their degree(s). Also depends on if the teacher was in public school and what is offered for teacher training. I had a lot of good workshops and training there as well.

SandArt That's great, Supernova. Like I wrote, I know my perspective is limited only to the secondary teachers I have worked with in my district.

We have excellent trainings in our districts for all, so even if you had a subpar teacher program, you can still learn. I have learned so much from our professional development.

My sister is a ...See More
