Good to know, Mary-Lorraine. I will ask after my firm offer. I saw on FB that some people suggested shipping some basics (borders, decorations) ahead because decorative for classrooms are limited in Japan.

If you have something very specific (like a very particular border) that you want for your classroom then by all means find it/ship it. But, between Daiso (100 yen stores which are everywhere) and the craft store on base we've never wanted for anything else to decorate/supply classes..
