1. If you are a stateside DoDEA teacher, are you eligible for the transfer round each year...including overseas locations?
2. If stateside DoDEA, are children of employed teachers eligible to attend the base school?
3. Those of you who have worked in stateside schools, would you agree that the benefits of working stateside DoDEA are worth taking a potential pay cut...currently have 29 years experience and will be starting on
step 5...probably wouldn't take long to make that up if I'm correct...???

DoDEA Americas (DDESS) will not pay your relocation costs and will not pay to relocate you elsewhere unless it is specifically stated in the job description.

So just to clarify, a person teaching stateside cannot transfer to other locations? Sorry-I am trying to understand/ We would be stateside right now, but would love to go overseas one day.
