I have been doing a little research and it seems that it may take several weeks to get a firm offer. Because school will start for me in a little over a month, and I decline the offer at that point (because school is already in session/breaking contract issues), what will that mean for me?
Redclover711 While it can take several weeks to get a firm offer, my understanding is that it is very unlikely to get a tentative offer pulled unless there is something that pops up on a background check. Teach The timeline for those hired to teach stateside can be very different than those hired for overseas. The only thing you will wait on is the background check.
