If you join the DoDDS Teachers Facebook page, you can get even more information. I have heard that teachers stay in a hotel with free breakfast and pool using their LQA, then each summer when in the States, they can use their hotel points to basically stay in a hotel for free. I cannot remember who said this, so I would check for accuracy.

My understanding (again check for accuracy) is that the pay is also higher due to the fact that the school week runs from Sun-Thursday with Fri and Sat and off.

haha is correct, and if you are Christian, some local denominations have adjusted their meeting schedule to the Sabbath day observed in the area.
