Generally, you need to submit a lease when you request to start LQA. I'm not sure an AirBnB would fit the bill but you can always ask the authorizing dept. for further details. If you mean AirBNB for when you are away, I do not suggest it. There is a house exchange group on FB for DoDEA employees, because you are not supposed to be paid rent by someone else when also getting LQA. If you sublet, your LQA will be reduced by the amount you receive, or the allowance will be stopped altogether. This is because LQA is considered "one rent".
