You're paid bi-weekly. If you're new to DoDEA, there can be up to a 6 week delay before you receive your first paycheck depending on when paperwork was processed. Since you are being hired over the summer, your paperwork is being processed early so there shouldn't be a lag or delay for you at all. You'll be paid on regular schedule.

Yes, you are paid every other Friday. You are paid for the previous two-weeks, so your first full pay check will be at least two weeks after your start date. You'll start on a 21 payday schedule for your first year and your first pay date varies a bit. Figure on a few week delay just to be safe.
