We got our travel orders and set up an account in ETA and DPS. Do we have to do the self-counseling? We are having a problem because it keeps saying we need to do our branch of service information. We can't find that anywhere. Any help on what to click to do that part would be really appreciated.

Yep! You do self counseling...I had to ask about that as well. I will be working at a school on an Army base, so that was my branch of service. If you're on an Air Force base, you'd put that instead.

Oregonsip: where did you put that info. I'm having a hard time to find out where to actually go in and put branch down. Is it just me or is that site very confusing? I feel like an idiot toggling back and forth between powerpoints I was sent and the site and still not getting anywhere.

Bett, did you figure it out? We were stuck with the branch of service part too. Eventually we just randomly clicked on the button right below Step 1 but above Step 2. Then we could proceed to the self counseling part. The whole process was very frustrating and kind of glitchy for us. So glad to be done with that!

@Twoteachers I did the same because the link didn't really show me anything about the branch

@Bett when you make an account for ETA or DPS (forgot which), one of the fields is asking for branch.
