Hi all. I live in Japan and I have a friend who teaches here in Japan. She requested a waiver for her child to attend the school she works in instead of the one 30 min away. She was denied bc the principal doesn't want the numbers in her school to decrease. Is there rule that she can't be denied? Is there anything she can do to change it? This is very worrisome as well bc the time she starts work and ends is different than her child's school. Plus with the commute and traffic she won't make it home in time to be with her young child. Any suggestions???

I submitted back in May and when I arrived at my school, I was told that it was finally approved. I had a...See More
