However, I haven't even gotten a sniff for a referral. Does anyone have any idea why I haven't gotten any contact? I know there are a lot of applicants but I also know there aren't that many exceptionals. (maybe 15 or so)
I put my application on hold last week because I'm on the cusp of some money for loan forgiveness.

If you know that much about your application (and the application pool) then you have more inside information then most of us get. The only thing I can think of is that your certs are rarely combined together and principals are generally looking for candidates with more combinations (e.g. LIMM+LIMS+LIEI etc or SS+Psch/something related).

Check your application on the EAS to make sure you're actually activated for the current school year (2017-2018). A couple of us found well into the hiring season that we were not even though we'd done the whole application review process around the new year. An inquiry to HR resolved the situation.
