1. Are teachers receive any extra money for housing?
2. Is there a possibility to be able to transfer within the country to other bases/locations? If so, how easy is this?
3. Is there preference given to spouses of teachers who also would like to work for DOD? My husband is a truck driver. Are there any truck driving opportunities? I think we will most likely end up in Fort Campbell.
4. Are we allowed to shop in the base grocery store, or is it just for the military families?
5. I am enrolled in a Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, where after 10 years teaching for a non-profit school, my loans will be forgiven... is the DODEA eligible (meaning, are they non-profit) and/or are there any other loan forgiveness programs available for DODEA teachers?
