It is, but it's not a significant area for DoDEA. In my experience the classes cost extra money and are outside of the regular school day (but this may be different in different locations).

I am endorsed in it with college coursework in Florida but I didn't see it as an option when applying. Is it something you pick up if you happen to be in a location that has a need. Does DODEA still certify teachers for it?

They have teachers teaching it so I am guessing yes they still certify in it. It is a very small niche area so I am assuming it is not something they will normally actively search for in a new teacher.
