There are 3 physical hubs listed for the virtual positions. Do you move to those locations, or is virtual literally taught from where ever you are right now, and you are teaching students in those locations?

It means that we (current DoDEA teachers) can apply for Virtual School positions even though we generally are not allowed to apply for open DoDEA positions unless they are posted through official email and state they are open to current DoDEA teachers (which doesn't happen very often). I agree. I am definitely under the impression that Virtual School teacher are located at the hubs. I believe it is a time zone and technology issue.

Currently, teachers in DoDEA Americas (including Puerto Rico- not sure about Guam) can apply through EAS to work in other locations and are not part of the transfer round (Guam is in the transfer round). Teachers currently in DoDEA pacific and Europe can apply for DoDEA Americas, but not to move to another location within DoDEA Pacific and Europe. ...See More
