My name is Rick St. Louis and I have started my application process with the DoDEA and I have a question about Target Jobs and how I should proceed. I am Washington State endorsed in ELA (5-12), Social Studies (5-12), and Sped (K-12). When applying for target jobs, can I only apply for jobs I am endorsed in or can I apply for Jobs that I have enough college credits to qualify? I am confused on this point. It seems that if I have say 30 quarter credits in art, I can apply for an art position. Am I reading this wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DoDEA will certify you based on your credits.

You can apply for any job that you feel like applying for. DoDEA will then evaluate your transcripts and state certifications and tell you which areas THEY consider you qualified for with them. Those will be the only areas/jobs they will generally consider you for.
