Scholar, would you mind sharing what positions are still vacant and which country you are in?

I am in Germany. I believe it's full time math or math/science.

In Japan there was also a Math/Science combo that went unfilled, apparently because the principal was not convinced by any of the candidates they interviewed.
It will either be filled by excessed teachers, transfer round participants that request reconsideration or will go CONUS if still vacant.

Speaking for myself, there is just no way of telling right now. A large percentage of positions in the transfer round were elementary (I forget exactly how many but it was a sizable chunk) so those positions will have been filled and likely left similar sized holes behind them.
