Just letting everyone know, in case anyone was waiting for referrals. I know I am!

Well that's a bummer that they can't hire positions for which no excessed educator qualifies. The sooner they start hiring the better chance of students having a teacher the first day of class.

I would agree that there are still more placements, reconsideration and within District moves that need to be done before they get to CONUS hires. I'm not so sure that they have to wait for all excesses to be placed before hiring anyone stateside. Exactly, ergo the 'technically'. I've heard of admins not reporting all vacancies to avoid having to fill it with excessed employees. Rumors though.
