Hello!

I am a dual license SPED/Elementary new graduate. I am working as a SPED team lead at an elementary school. I have several years of practicums in almost every kind of SPED classroom.

Are there any SPED DODDS teachers who can tell me their experience getting hired? Am I more likely to get a position if I want to teach low incidence/DDPre? Gah! I want to do more than sit and wait to hear from them!
haha SPED teacher here. The best way to be hired seems is to have as many SPED certs as possible and ideally some experience teaching different ages/populations. Hopeful Thanks for the reply! So, I am a bit confused. Are you saying I have to at least have a master's to be considered? I have a bachelor's in SPED and am certified to teach it, in general. haha No, I was just giving you my experience/timeline. In my case, I had a non-teaching/non-SPED degree for my BA and had gotten certified through an alternative route.
