Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

It has been a while since I have been on here, so I have lost track of the threads. I applied for a DODEA job and it said I was not qualified even though I have Sp.Ed certification in my state and I am able to teach EC-6 in my state as well. I remember seeing a thread regarding LaVerne University and some of the classes they offer online that will help supplement the additional hours they "say I need" to be eligible. Can anyone recommend some of the classes I may want to take from La Verne University that will help with endorsement for mild to moderate special education?

SpedTeacher74 That's it BH! Thanks so much! So Jay, if you will click on that link and read through that thread, the classes are listed there.

Jay Thank you all. It appears that they have changed some of the classes, so I am going to take a few and hope for the best.

SpedTeacher74 Jay, you can email the course descriptions to your case manager and he or she can tell you whether or not it will work for qualifications and in what area.
