Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

If I do receive an offer from the DoD, I am concerned that my spouse will be out of luck with a job (he is NOT a teacher). Anyone who currently teaches overseas - what do your spouses do? Mine has a BA in Business Administration and owned his own landscaping business (which he sold so we could POSSIBLY go on this adventure).Thoughts?
haha Opportunities can vary quite a bit by location. My wife is also a teacher but we know couples where the non-teaching spouse enjoys subbing or has found other kinds of employment on base (e.g. commissary, BX, teen center, civilian contractor, garage, logistics, maintenance etc.).

Teach There are many agencies on base that are always looking for good employees.

IsItFriday? It's usually easy enough to pick up a GS-4 slot. Depending on the time of year and the size of the base it may only take a few months.

The jobs are not exactly career-building type of work, but a decent slot can fill the day and bring in some cash to increase the total household income.

HelpOthers I have seen some spouses offering their landscaping or house cleaning skills on the local Facebook page. In some locations spouses are NOT able to find work.
