As an update to my previous question is it fairly easy to drive outside of USA
SpedTeacher74 Very easy in Europe...I wouldn't have tried to drive in Korea. It was scary.

haha It it/was reasonably easy in Germany and Japan (depending on the person I guess). Japan is a little more challenging since we drive on the other side of the road but not bad once you make the adjustment.

We don't know anyone (here or Germany) that didn't drive because they thought it was too challenging.

SpedTeacher74 Haha now I'm just curious...is the steering wheel on the U.S. or British side of the vehicle in Japan? The adjustment isn't bad if it is on the U.S. side (IMO) as that's how they drive in the Virgin Islands and I've done that a few times now. haha Other side. It makes for a bigger adjustment (and getting in on the wrong side of the car, turning on wipers when you meant to use turn signals, etc. a few times) but in the long run it's easier when you have switch back and forth to different sides of the road going back to the states, etc.. HelpOthers Having the steering wheel place you in the middle of the road rather than the perimeter helps most rather than hinders. If you are concerned, when you get to Japan, you can purchase an export car that meets the Japanese standards but still has the steering on the left. Your choice.
