Hours to months. At this time of year it seems that they prioritize some of the high needs/hard to fill areas (e.g. Math/Science, SPED, certain CTE areas, etc.). When in doubt, try calling/emailing and be the squeaky wheel.

@haha I think I might to call. I'm wondering if it's too late to be considered for this school year. I put I wanted to be considered for the 18-19 school year but now wondering when I should switch to 19-20.

If it still allows you to choose 18-19 then you will be considered. You will be active even after the school year starts if a vacancy comes up. In January you will go in and update for 19-20

It's definitely not too late. Some interviewing and early offers are happening now but really this is super early compared to most years. Interviewing is likely to go on from now until school starts.
