There is another online school at Advancementcourses.com that if you use the Loyola-Marymount option the classes are subject specific course codes instead of Educ. I am taking a course through there so I don't run in to any problems with course codes.

Also some schools that offer AP courses will also offer credit. For instance, I took my biology AP at a community college and received 3 hours in selected topics in biology. So you can kill 2 birds with one stone.

I requested approval several times for the Astronomy course at LaVerne from HR and my case manager and got zero response. So, I guess I'll find out if they accept it or not in a week or two when I submit the transcript. There are no words (at least without using my sailorspeak) that can adequately express the profound loathing I feel for HR.
