I just received my tentative offer for a job in Seoul South Korea. I'm pretty stoked! I interviewed on April 10th, so just over 3 weeks ago. For the salary it showed the salary at step 1, which I expected, but I was surprised it showed the rate for teachers rather than for School Psychologists. Is that normal, and something that will naturally get corrected before the firm offer? Or is that a mistake that I need to point out and make sure they correct?

This chatboard has been great. I really appreciate all the help I've received so far, and look forward to asking many more questions. Thank you!

Frank Hi livehappy Thanks for reaching out. I'll look forward to working with you. I've heard different things, so I'd like to get your perspective. In your opinion, just how bad is the pollution/air quality in Seoul? Thanks!

H How soon after the interview were your references checked and your application frozen?

Frank My references were checked before my interview, and before I was contacted about an interview (I never received a referral letter). My application was frozen 3 weeks after my interview at the same time that I received the tentative offer.

livehappy So the air quality is really not that bad. We do have some days that are bad and you can fell dirt kinda like in your mouth and eyes but nothing crazy. Our allergies have actually been better since being here.
