I am a "local" spouse on military orders stationed in Europe, does anyone have an experience being hired or with the process being already overseas? Any tips? I am certified Elementary/ESOL K-6 and Reading K-12, not the most "in need" positions but still interested... Many of the spouses here say it has been almost impossible to get hired, but they have long term subs in several classrooms....

Positive Vibes smnogle23, that is awesome! I was thinking about trying this (applying as an aide or anything) just to get my foot in the door. I am a certified teacher but in school for counseling and wanted to make the transition. I'm hoping once you get in the DODEA system, it's easier to apply as an internal applicant.
