in the southern district (Ft. Benning)? I have been waiting for at least a referral and then I heard chatter about this freeze. Can anyone confirm please? Thank you!!

I believe it is only in one district, not the others in the Americas.

Yes, the hold is on the Southeast District (AL, GA, KY, and SC).

I was told the reason is that some schools are reducing their numbers and those teachers need to be placed. The system did not start the RIF process in time to consider officially Reducing in Force those who don't have positions, so I believe any open position is trying to be matched with a current employee who does not have a position for next yea...See More
