I just figured out I can add on several subjects by taking the Praxis in my state. Does this reduce the hours I would need with DoDEA? Can someone explain this to me? Thanks!
someday You would need half the credits there has been some discussion about whether you still need all of the upper level. The consensus seems to be yes, you still do. Take the praxis full-length practice test first if you can pass that you will be fine for the test. I always review every question whether I got it right or wrong.

southernteach I have taken like 5 of the Praxis tests in the past to certify along with my degree but I did not even realize I can add these other endorsements on.

So for example for gifted does that mean if I have that endorsement I would only need 8 semester hours in gifted education? Or would I still need 15? A major in gifted education or a minimum ...See More

BubbleHead It reduces the number of total hours required in that subject but it doesn't reduce the number of upper level hours required.
