You would need half the credits there has been some discussion about whether you still need all of the upper level. The consensus seems to be yes, you still do. Take the praxis full-length practice test first if you can pass that you will be fine for the test. I always review every question whether I got it right or wrong.

I have taken like 5 of the Praxis tests in the past to certify along with my degree but I did not even realize I can add these other endorsements on.

It reduces the number of total hours required in that subject but it doesn't reduce the number of upper level hours required.
