I interviewed yesterday afternoon. This morning I got an email saying my EAS app was inactivated. Pretty fast. (As a reader of some posts on this site, I knew perhaps that meant I had been selected). Of course to be sure I called HR. She said it was inactivated while they ensure I have the qualifications for the job prior to the initial offer.

Does that mean they're doing the initial background check? HR had already deemed me qualified in that area (and others) when I submitted my application, right?

I've previously worked DODEA and Child Development Services with DA, not to mention my civilian job, and had many background checks (NACI, if my memory is right). So would that make the process faster?

SLP-T My application was just inactivated as well but I had multiple interviews. How do we know from which interview? It is not listed on the the email.
